UK Season 2 begins in October
Chris Howell over at The Great Link just passed an article link my way:
The US Sci Fi Channel will premiere the second season of Battlestar Galactica on 15 July 2005 and, unlike season one, they'll be screening it ahead of the UK.
"We will air season two of Battlestar Galactica in October, so the US goes first this time around," our Sky contact revealed earlier today.
Looks like the UK people get to break out their torrents this time around... maybe you guys can go first on Season 3...

Just FYI:
Spacen posted possible spoilers for episode 6, "Home part 1", at the Pegasus Galaxy forum:

The US will be getting not only season 2 but any other future seasons of the show before the UK.

Well I guess you guys will have to warm up the torrents... or sit back and wait... I don't understand why they can't just release it everywhere at once...

The thing is - most new shows like Battlestar, Rome, Deadwood, Stargate - they ALL air on US TV first. I don't see why the UK can't get the first looksie now and again. It almost seems as though they gave it to the UK first to see how they would like it, and then when they realised people did they said - now back to our more valued customers and show it in the US first from then on.

Blogmeister - I don't think anyone needs the first looksie... This is the digital age. There is simply no reason not to roll this stuff out every where at once. Let us watch your TV programs! We are begging you!
