Chris Howell of The Great Link sent along this interesting link:
The Sky Media Sponsorship document for Season 2 of Battlestar Galactica (due
to receive its UK premiere on Sky One early next year) is now online at:
http://www.skymedia.co.uk/pages/sponsorship-opportuniti es-skyone-battlestargalacticas eries2
If anything, it is an interesting look into the "behind-the-scenes" of television advertising. The document is a Word Doc. I particularly like this "benefit" of advertising with BSG:
Opportunity to communicate with a younger group of viewers, averaging higher disposable income than their terrestrial counterparts.
Terrestrial counterparts? As opposed to non-terrestrial ones?

Sky One is carried on direct broadcast satellite (and some cable systems) in the UK... hence, it's "satellite" versus "terrestrial" TV reception.

Ah... so it is a reference to the requirements of obtaining the medium to watch the show?
Am I correct in thinking that you could not make the same deduction about US audiences since it is a combination of satellite and terrestrial (cable)?
