The best BSG Christmas present?
Let's here it! Leave a comment on this post. What Battlestar Galactica related stuff did you get for Christmas? I did not receive a single BSG related item, but I did convince a friend to buy himself a subscription to Netflix for Christmas so he can watch the show and he is now loving every minute of it.
I guess you could say I got NBS Universal another fan for Christmas. :)
So? What did you get?

Whew, well the one thing I did get was the BSG xbox game. The only issue is that my friend apparently read some mis-info, and thought that it was based on the new series. Whoops. Oh well, it's still playable, and it's nice to have anothere space sim to play... though it's no Freespace. But I really like how you can configure the missiles. It's weird, everyone has been complaining that the game is really hard, and that people kept dying on the first stage. One reviewer stated that you NEEDED to read the manual to figure it out. Ummm... I learned how to properly use missiles within the first 30 seconds. I guess the genre of space sim truely is dead.

Aragorn - I totally agree with you. I have said before that, while it isn't the best space sim ever created, it is far from the worst... I am sure you are keeping your eyes on the Freespace 2 total conversion mod right?

That is the best of both worlds!!!

TM - Yup, you betcha. I'm holding my breath in the event that Paramount decides to yoink it. A functional computer is also in the works, as I'd like to see how other mods worked out. RIP quality volition games.

I got Season 1 and gave it to friends as both a wedding present and as a Christmas present. Also got the Season 1 soundtrack.

Eliz, I think the season 1 dvd set is going to be the present that I'll be regularly giving out in 2006.
