More info on BSG Titanium Ships
For those of you on the hunt for Titanium ships, here is some more info emailed in by Jason:
Target's DPCIstock number is 087 06 1624. Their toy departments are in the process of "resetting" with new stock for the upcoming quarter, so chances are your store will be receiving fresh cases of Titanium, even if they've had the one lone Wookiee Flyer hanging around since MLK Day.
I found some of these over the weekend, and thought your other readers might want a small review. They were at Wal-Mart, btw. I had a gift card, otherwise I wouldn't go there, but I digress. (No pictures, sorry!) They were $4.97 each plus tax.
GALACTICA: 3.5" long, metal body with extending plastic flight pods. Reasonable accuracy for the size, right down to the Colonial emblem on top. The hole for the display stand is placed a bit further back than I'd like, so yours may tend to droop from the front-heaviness. Unless you're desperate for one, I'd say wait for the 6-inch version in the summer.
RAIDER: Again, exact in shape, even with the wing tips made of stiff but bendable plastic for safety. I think Hasbro may need some correcting on details like painting, though. The Raider is black and purple, with red only on the engine thruster tips. No red eye, and although someone made an effort to include the old insignia, instead of two concentric pentagons, they put one hexagon on each wing--and the ones on mine were uneven.
VIPER: Oh, it's a big pretty white plane with red stripes, and guns on the wings and a pilot, and it just looks like a big Tylenol! (Someone had already grabbed them when I got there, so feel free to insert your own Airplane reference. I can post a review when I find one.)
More reports continue to surface (as well as photos) of people obtaining these little jewels of fun. If you have any links to reviews or photos, put them in the comments!

Pics of the ships I picked up today at Target thanks to you guys!

Did everyone notice that the packaging for the Viper says "Viper Mark VII", when the Viper is clearly a Mark II?
The list I saw at Gateworld awhile back was:
3-inch 2004 Scout ship vehicle
3-inch 2004 Colonial 1
3-inch 2004 Raptor
3-inch 2004 Viper Mark VII
Cylon Warrior (figure)
3-inch 1978 Viper vehicle
3-inch 1978 Cylon Raider vehicle
I am really anxious for the Raptor and Colonial 1, but would really like to see Pegasus, an actual Mark VII Viper, and a Cylon Basestar.
Also, what is the scout ship?

Natrino -
That was, apparently, a preliminary list. And the writing on the back of the Viper Mark II box indicates its more than just a labeling snafu -- the description is OF the Mark VII!
I have no idea what they mean by The Scout Ship. The only thing I can think of is the Blackbird/Laura.
I stopped by the Target in Cockeysville, MD today and picked up two each of the Viper, Cylon Raider, and Galactica. Don't hate.

Maybe the scout ship is a civilian ship?

I got my Raider and I do adore it, aside from the strange color choices. I'm probably going to try and buy some modelling paint today and make it look proper.

I collected two each of the Galactica, Viper and Raider (opened one set, stashed the other) from various Wal-Marts in upstate NY. A few notes:
GALACTICA: The pods go in and out a little too loosely; it is hard to make them stay in one position. I'm thinking about super-gluing the pods in the extended position.
RAIDER: Definitely too purple. And no moving parts.
VIPER: Just plain sweet. The cockpit SLIDES forward (there's nobody inside). And the packaging is laughably off.
Thanks Hasbro...been waiting a LONG time for BSG die-cast vehicles.

I wonder if they will cast a Battlestar Pegasus in the titanium series. It would be great if they did because they are so well done. Anyone else think so?

I say the more toys the better! That is my rule!

I would like to see:
- A cylon basestar to scale with galactica
- A Battlestar Valkryie (not sure if that spelt right).
- Any other Battlestars that we might see/ have already seen. All to scale with Galactica.
For those who don't know, the Valkryie looks like the Pegasus and Galactica combined, and can be seen in the first episode, for a better idea of what i'm talking about, google it: Battlestar Valkryie. that would be awsome.
