Battlestar Galactica is almost true

Check out this "almost true" news post about BSG:

Those events, previously thought to be just a fabricated storyline for the show, are actually real events. Real events? Nah... not really.

I mean... I remember DS9, and the one thing I loved about that is that it took history and current events into consideration, and it was scary for a time, cause with 9/11... and the short campaign in palestine there after, it was kinda like DS9 predicted the future. But history has a habit of repeating it's self, so... yeah.

I always kinda roll my eyes at people who say that ron moore's writings are based on real world events.

but still... ah ds9. I loved the bajorians(sp)... cause they were basically THE intergalactic palestinians.

Well, some plot events are *inspired* by real events, but every writer draws from personal experience or history at some point.

But this.... this sounds like it's taken from the literature of a new sect of the Branch Dividians who missed the spaceship that was hiding in the Hale-Bopp Comet. Scary.
